Deron Williams
There has been speculation from Jazz fans concerning whether or not Deron Williams wants to stay in Utah anymore.
After losing teammates Carlos Boozer, Ronnie Brewer, Wesley Matthews and Kyle Korver, is there any reason not to believe that Deron would want out?
Williams had an interview with David Locke (the new radio voice for the Jazz) a couple weeks ago, and he stated that he no longer lives in Salt Lake City during the summer months. Is this a sign?

Zach Randolph
The Grizzlies already have a crowded plate this summer with Rudy Gay and Ronnie Brewer becoming restricted free agents on July 1 and owner Michael Heisley claiming his club will do everything in its power to keep the pair.
Now, Zach Randolph is saying that he wants to do a contract extension this summer so he does not have to worry about becoming a free agent in 2011.
“I like it here,” Randolph said of Memphis. “I told the owner I want to be here. If they’re going to let me be open and be a free agent or they’re going to extend me or lock me in, I’d rather take a lock in.”

Ronnie Brewer
If Ronnie Brewer does not play tonight, it will be because of an unexpected setback or team owner Michael Heisley refusing to give him clearance.
All other indications are that Brewer is ready to be the super reserve the Griz acquired from Utah in a trade deadline deal last month.
“He’s a competitor,” Rudy Gay said.
“He knows he can help us. I can’t wait to see him out there. He’s a guy who does everything. He’s kind of like a glue guy. He’s going to be quicker than he is now. But he’s still better than a lot of guys in the league.”

Rudy Gay
Memphis owner Michael Heisley is confident that the team will be able to re-sign restricted free agent Rudy Gay this summer.
“I feel we’re going to sign him,” Heisley told the Memphis Commercial-Appeal. “I don’t know what else you want me to say. Rudy is an outstanding player. He fits our team well. We’ve got the best front line in basketball.”
The owner went on to dispel rumors that the Grizzlies acquired Ronnie Brewer from Utah at the trade deadline as insurance should Gay leave this offseason.

Deron Williams
After the Jazz traded his good friend Ronnie Brewer, Deron Williams seemed to hint that his exit from the franchise could be sooner rather than later.
Speaking with reporters the day after the Jazz sent Brewer to Memphis for a protected first-round draft pick, Williams expressed frustration with the trade and hinted that he too was ready to leave.
“That’s why I signed a three-year deal.”

Dorell Wright
Memphis remains hopeful it can acquire one of several players via trade, including such swingmen as Utah’s Ronnie Brewer or Miami’s Dorell Wright.
The Grizzlies expect to complete a trade before Thursday’s deadline, according to sources with knowledge of the team’s dealings.
Memphis is not seriously fielding offers for point guard Mike Conley on the eve of the trade deadline. Sources contradicted an ESPN.com report that the Griz considered moving Conley for cap relief and a first-round pick.

Rudy Gay
Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins strongly refuted trade rumors involving star Rudy Gay on Friday night.
“Untrue. There’s no trade possibility for Rudy (Gay). Rudy is a Memphis Grizzly, and for as long as he wants to be, he will be.” Hollins said in response to an ESPN report to the contrary.
Memphis has been linked to Ronnie Brewer, who some believe will be used as insurance should the Grizzlies lose Gay this coming offseason. Sources claim that it is in the best interest of the Grizzlies to trade Gay because he becomes a restricted free agent this summer.

Ronnie Brewer
Memphis is discussing a potential trade in which they would acquire Ronnie Brewer from the Utah Jazz.
The discussions have centered around which first round pick the Grizzlies would send to Utah.
Brewer earns $2.7 million and will be a restricted free agent this summer. A qualifying offer would cost $3.7 million.

Korver and Okur
Jazz center Mehmet Okur pedaled a stationary bike prior to practice and made it through the session without any problems Monday, marking his return from a stomach virus that caused him to miss three straight games.
“I’m feeling better now,” said Okur, who plans to play when the Jazz face Oklahoma City Tuesday night.
But Kyle Korver, who backed up Ronnie Brewer at shooting guard last season, said Monday he hopes to perhaps be ready to return by week’s end.
“It’s possible, I think,” he said. “But we’ll see how it is.”

Ronnie Brewer
Jazz guard Ronnie Brewer is hoping to get a contract extension from the team.
“That’s not really in my hands right now,” Brewer told the Deseret News of a possible contract extension.
The two sides would need to reach an agreement by the end of the month.
Jazz general manager Kevin O’Connor said earlier this week that he planned to talk with the player’s agent.
“If it happens it happens,” added Brewer. “I mean, I just feel like it’s a great opportunity. I enjoy playing (in Utah). But my focus is on just getting better this year, and helping this team out.”
