Check out the Top 10 plays from the first round of the 2010 Playoffs.
Brandon Jennings may not have won Rookie of the Year, but he is keeping his eyes on a bigger prize.
“To win a playoff series is real motivation, because they said we couldn’t do it as a team,” Jennings said.
“If we get the game Friday, I’m sure everybody out there will be ‘Fearing the Deer,’ as they say.”
He has elevated his play against the Hawks and is averaging a team-leading 20.8 points in the first five games of the playoffs.
noneThe Kings will introduce point guard Tyreke Evans as the NBA’s Rookie of the Year on Thursday.
Evans will receive the award in Sacramento, according to sources close to the situation.
He beat out Golden State’s Stephen Curry and Milwaukee’s Brandon Jennings for the award.
Evans is the first King to win the award in the Sacramento era.

Brandon Jennings
Brandon Jennings of the Milwaukee Bucks has been fined $7,500 for posting a message on his Twitter account in violation of NBA rules.
On Saturday, Dec. 12, a message was posted on Jennings’ Twitter account immediately following the Bucks’ 108–101 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in Milwaukee.
Jennings “tweeted” the following message in the locker room immediately after the game: ‘Back to 500. Yess!!! “500″ means where doing good. Way to Play Hard Guys.’
Players are not allowed to post on blogs, Twitter, etc. directly before, during or after a game.

Donnie Walsh
Knicks president Donnie Walsh met with his entire U.S.-based scouting department Wednesday to discuss the future and perhaps one glaring mistake from the not-so-distant past.
“I’m pretty sure the name Brandon Jennings will come up,” said one team official.
The decision to pass on Jennings in June’s draft has backfired for the Knicks, and Walsh has not been shy about assigning blame to members of his scouting department, many of whom are holdovers from the Isiah Thomas administration.

Earl Boykins
Earl Boykins used a head fake to get Brandon Jennings in the air and the Milwaukee Bucks’ point guard heard the whistle.
Jennings, for his part, disputes the foul call that sent Boykins to the free throw line with 1 second left for the winning shots in the Washington Wizards’ 104–102 victory over the Bucks.
“He pump-faked and I jumped, but I was jumping this way and he jumped toward me.”
