Rudy Fernandez
Rudy Fernandez continues to lobby for a trade to New York, but the Knicks either can not or will not make a trade for the Portland shooting guard.
According to a team source, Knicks president Donnie Walsh recently rejected a three-team deal that would have sent Anthony Randolph to Indiana, a first-round pick to Portland and Fernandez to New York.
Because the Trail Blazers are insisting on receiving a first-round pick in return for Fernandez, the Knicks likely need to recruit a third team in order to complete a deal.

David Lee
Golden State is close to a sign-and-trade with the Knicks that would bring Lee to the Warriors. The Warriors would send Anthony Randolph and a few other pieces to New York for Lee.
Of course, the Knicks will not do anything with Lee until they know for sure what LeBron James is doing, but the Warriors seem to be the front runner if New York does swing a sign-and-trade.
Lee’s laissez-faire approach to defense would seemingly fit well with the Warriors’ offensive-minded scheme, and teaming Lee with a backcourt of Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry would give Golden State a formidable array of scorers.

Anthony Randolph
The Timberwolves and Warriors have discussed a trade that would send forward Anthony Randolph to Minnesota, according to sources. Nothing is imminent, but the Timberwolves are interested in acquiring Randolph.
Golden State has the sixth pick in this month’s NBA Draft and would like to move up. Minnesota has the fourth selection.
In December it was reported that the Warriors were shopping Randolph, but nothing was ever agreed upon.

Anthony Randolph
Warriors forward Anthony Randolph may be out for a significant period of time after suffering an ankle injury on Friday night against the Kings.
After the game, Golden State announced that X-rays showed Randolph suffered a sprain and a possible fracture.
Sources revealed that the preliminary diagnosis is a fracture and he would be out four to six weeks.
Randolph was trying to contest a shot by Kings forward Jason Thompson when he landed awkwardly on his ankle.

Corey Maggette
Golden State Warriors general manager Larry Riley said he is weary of all the trade rumors hanging over his team and claims he is not shopping any player — despite rumblings throughout the NBA indicating otherwise.
One NBA executive said the Warriors are “trying to unload” forward Corey Maggette (no surprise, given his mammoth contract) and would trade young forward Anthony Randolph for “the right veteran.”

Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cavs are targeting several players believed to be on the trade market. Multiple sources said the team has been in touch about the following:
Anthony Randolph, Warriors: The young, tall and talented Randolph has been an enigma. He has had some excellent games but has had steady run-ins with Warriors coach Don Nelson and his playing time has varied.
Troy Murphy, Pacers: According to multiple sources, there us an interest from both parties for the prototypical stretch forward.
Antawn Jamison, Wizards: Right now Washington, says a league executive, is not ready to do anything with its roster despite a poor start.

Anthony Randolph
Reports that the Golden State Warriors are willing to trade second-year forward Anthony Randolph do not bother him at all, according to his agent.
“If Golden State wants to trade Anthony, we’re not opposed to that,” his agent, Bill Duffy, said.
“He hasn’t asked for or demanded a trade, but if the Warriors feel it would be beneficial to them to trade him, we wouldn’t be opposed to that at all.”
In fact, others close to the 20-year-old Randolph say he would be pleased to get a fresh start elsewhere.

Anthony Randolph
A number of NBA teams say that the Warriors are offering up forward Anthony Randolph in trade discussions.
Golden State has had a love-hate relationship with Randolph, who they have at times considered untouchable.
“The Warriors are willing to do anything and everything,” one Western Conference official said.
Randolph is averaging 11.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season.

Anthony Randolph
Warriors coach Don Nelson said Wednesday that Anthony Randolph’s future might be as a center.
Randolph is listed at 6-foot-11 but says he’s closer to 7– foot. He once was considered the team’s long-term solution at power forward, and many believed that he could develop into a “3” with his assortment of skills.
No one seems to know what to make of the second-year player anymore.
“He’s probably taller than anybody I’ve got on the team right now, and he’s still growing, they tell me,” Nelson said. “Maybe, eventually, center will be his position. I don’t know.”
