Eva Longoria, Tony Parker
Tony Parker’s wife, actress Eva Longoria, was overheard last night saying the San Antonio point guard wants to come to the Big Apple.
The couple was at sold-out Red Bull Arena last night in Harrison, N.J., to watch their friend Thierry Henry and the Red Bulls lose 1-0 to the L.A. Galaxy.
When asked if Parker’s presence meant he was coming to New York, she responded, “No, we’re just here watching [Henry].” When asked if her husband wanted to come to New York, she quickly flashed a smile, nodded her head and said, “Yes.”

Richard Jefferson will re-sign with the Spurs on Wednesday.
Details of the new deal are not available, but Jefferson’s salary will be well below the $15.2 million he would have made he had not opted out of the final year of his contract.
Jefferson’s agent, Todd Eley, explained last month that the forward preferred long-term security over the uncertainty of becoming a free agent next season.

Tiago Splitter
Brazilian basketball star Tiago Splitter, 25, wants to play in the NBA next season, according to sources.
Splitter’s rights are owned by the San Antonio Spurs, which drafted him with the 28th pick of the 2007 NBA draft. He had been considered a possible higher pick the previous year, but the expensive buyout of his contact with a Spanish League team scared teams off.
The 6-11 center has stayed in the Spanish League since, winning the Spanish Supercup MVP in both 2006 and 2007 as well as league MVP and Spanish League Finals MVP this year.
