Linas Kleiza
Toronto has signed free agent Linas Kleiza to a multiyear contract.
The Raptors acquired the rights to Kleiza nine days ago when the Denver Nuggets opted not to match Toronto’s offer sheet. Kleiza played with Greek club Olympiakos last year after four seasons in Denver.
The 6-foot-8 forward from Lithuania averaged 8.3 points with the Nuggets.

Al Harrington
The Denver Nuggets reached an agreement in principle Tuesday night on a five-year, $34 million contract with free-agent forward Al Harrington.
The Nuggets had to outbid the Dallas Mavericks to secure Harrington’s signature after Dallas followed up its trade acquisition of Tyson Chandler earlier Tuesday with a hard push for Harrington.
The former New York Knicks backup tweeted: “I’m taking my Talents to the MILE HIGH.”

Carmelo Anthony
Carmelo Anthony has one more year left on his contract with the Denver Nuggets before he can opt out of it and become an unrestricted free agent.
The Nuggets are feeling like he may do just that and the team “is prepared to trade Melo rather than let him walk” next summer, according to a source.
Anthony will make $17 million this season and the Nuggets have been trying to get him to sign on for a $65 million extension that would have him in Denver through 2015.

Carmelo Anthony
The Nuggets have offered forward Carmelo Anthony a contract extension worth $65 million, according to NBA sources.
It was reported on Wednesday that Denver and Anthony could come to terms on an extension prior to Thursday night’s NBA Draft.
Anthony will have to consider the NBA’s uncertain future. It is possible that maximum contracts will be decreased under a new collective bargaining agreement.

Linas Kleiza
Linas Kleiza averaged 17.1 points and nearly seven rebounds last season for the Greek team Olympiakos. Now, the Denver Nuggets would like him back doing such things for them, according to sources.
The team has made a qualifying offer to Kleiza, whose rights are still owned by the team he played for from 2006–2009.
Kleiza’s agent responded by saying that the player is not moving back to North America anytime soon. “We have no plans to sign with the Nuggets,” he said.

Carmelo Anthony
A refreshing note on free agency that does not include LeBron James: Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony said Sunday he will look into a potential three-year extension with the team this summer.
“Well see what happens,” said Anthony, whose contract is up after the 2010-11 season.
“I think my agent (Leon Rose) is going to talk to them in a week or so. And if there’s something on the table, then we’ll go to the table and see what’s the best situation for me.”
