Mikki Moore
NBA veteran big man Mikki Moore had surgery in mid-December to fix a right heel spur and he is apparently going to be ready to go in mid-March.
So any team that did not get a big man at the trade deadline will have another opportunity.
The Denver Nuggets are expected to make an offer to Moore, who can sign with anybody till the end of the regular season and still be eligible for the playoffs.
His agent says four to five teams have expressed interest in Moore.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas
The Washington Wizards are getting close to buying out the contract of one of the fellas it just got from the Cleveland Cavaliers: Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
And the belief is that he will be headed back to Cleveland if the NBA will allow it.
A NBA source is saying nobody will get in the way of such a thing happening, though the Lithuanian big man will have to wait the customary 30 days to do so.
The league will apparently only step in if there is proof of some wheeling and dealing occurred and the Cavs promised Ilguaskas they would take him back before the deal with the Wizards was ever made.

Allen Iverson
Allen Iverson is going to miss the next three games with the Philadelphia 76ers due to an undiagnosed illness of his four-year-old daughter, Messiah.
He already missed two weeks earlier in the year due to the sickness. The Sixers are calling his leave indefinite.
“At this time, we feel that it is in the best interest of the Sixers, Allen and his family that he be allowed to deal with a very serious issue that is far greater than the game of basketball,” Sixers president and general manager Ed Stefanski said.
Some are thinking this could be it for Iverson and the Sixers, though. Sources reported yesterday that some in the organization are ready to send Iverson packing.

Antawn Jamison
Antawn Jamison came off the bench in his first two games with the Cavaliers, but that is expected to change.
“At the end of the day, he’s probably going to be a starter for us, he’s a starter in this league,” coach Mike Brown said. “I’ve just got to figure things out and we’re in the process of doing that right now.”
Jamison started at power forward to begin the second half of Cleveland’s loss to Orlando on Sunday. He scored 15 of his 19 points in the third and fourth quarters.

Deron Williams
After the Jazz traded his good friend Ronnie Brewer, Deron Williams seemed to hint that his exit from the franchise could be sooner rather than later.
Speaking with reporters the day after the Jazz sent Brewer to Memphis for a protected first-round draft pick, Williams expressed frustration with the trade and hinted that he too was ready to leave.
“That’s why I signed a three-year deal.”

Von Wafer
Von Wafer has played in the NBA for five different teams after getting picked in the second round of the 2005 draft.
He got signed last summer by Olympiakos, the Greek team that is always trying to sign folks away from the NBA. Wafer got tossed by Olympiakos this past December and has a hard time finding an NBA team that will take his services — until now.
It appears that the Dallas Mavericks are going to bring Wafer aboard, according to sources.
