The Thun­der did not win the way coach Scott Brooks drew up the game plan Sun­day night at the Ford Center.

But one byprod­uct from the Thunder’s 112–104 shootout win over the Golden State War­riors was that Kevin Durant scored 45 points to pass LeBron James in what is becom­ing an inter­est­ing race for the NBA scor­ing title.

The NBA’s scor­ing leader chart now reads: Carmelo Anthony (29.7), Durant (29.6) and James (29.4).
